The Pageant

All the classes 1-5 together opened the Centenary pageant with a powerful recital of the poem 'White Waves on Arthur's Castle Wall', written by Cecil Harwood, one of the founding teachers of Michael Hall, who dedicated his life to teaching and establishing the school and who also met Rudolf Steiner.
After a wonderful selection of offerings from each age group, the classes then closed the pageant with the powerful, thundering song 'Now the High Midsummer Sun', the words of which were also written by Cecil to go with the melody the former class teacher Nick Prater had composed.
