Old Scholars
Welcome to the Old Scholar page
Michael Hall School is part of your life story - a strong community connection that spans generations, professions, and continents, shaped by shared experiences of learning, creativity, and personal growth rooted in Waldorf education.
At Michael Hall, those who graduated are known as Old Scholars. Today, the term alumni is more commonly used. You may notice both being used at different times. Each speaks to the same shared journey and lasting connection to the school. However we name it, our community remains one of belonging, with lifelong relationships - embracing all who have been part of Michael Hall, then and now.
Whether you left Michael Hall recently or many decades ago, you are warmly invited to stay connected—sharing your path, meeting others whose journeys also began here, and remaining involved in the ongoing life of the school.
These pages offer a space to discover the rich and varied biographies of our alumni and to explore ways to reconnect with Michael Hall- through gatherings and reunions, mentoring and collaboration, gifting and donations, stories and memories, or simply keeping in touch.
Any time do get in touch email: [email protected].
“I am so glad I stayed on at Michael Hall, the teaching was excellent! The teachers knew me so well and knew what I needed so they could give me specific advice for the future. I don't think I would have had this personalised help and advice if I had gone to a different school or college. Michael Hall has the capacity to help you to specialise in different fields that you can excel in, most schools wouldn’t enable you to do that, whether it be working to get to Cambridge or becoming a professional Sailor or a Doctor, the scope is there for you if you want it.”
