A note on Host Arrangements:

At Michael Hall, the safeguarding and wellbeing of every student is our highest priority. In the UK, we are subject to strict safeguarding legislation, which places clear responsibilities on schools when children are living away from their parents or legal guardians.

For this reason, we are currently unable to support or facilitate hosting arrangements between families. Any such arrangement, even if informal or parent-led, would still fall under the school’s legal safeguarding responsibilities. At present, we do not have the necessary systems, staff resources, or procedures in place to manage this.

Until we are able to develop a fully compliant hosting programme, our policy is that all international students must live in the UK with a parent or legal guardian in order to attend the school.
