Michaelmas in the Saplings Garden

Last week, our Saplings families gathered on a beautiful, misty morning to tend the garden together in celebration of Michaelmas. Parents and children worked side by side—trimming, raking, and planting bulbs to rest quietly through the winter months. The morning carried a gentle rhythm of shared purpose and care, leaving the garden refreshed and ready for the season ahead.

To end the morning, everyone gathered for a circle time, where one of the mothers led a beautiful song—written by a former Michael Hall pupil—bringing the festival to a joyful close.
