Class 4AH Cuckmere Haven Camp

Last month, Class 4AH went on their Local Geography class camp. We started at the top of Firle Beacon and enjoyed the stunning views to the Weald in the north and the sea in the south. We descended to walk through Alfriston village and along the meanders of the Cuckmere River, arriving at Foxhole Camping Barn five hours and 7 miles later. The next morning, we enjoyed rock pooling and paddling in the sea at low tide. The camp was great fun and a brilliant opportunity to experience our local landscape and see wildlife along the way.
