Class 2 String Experience

Yesterday morning, the pupils of Classes 2 completed their String Experience with a concert for their parents. After just a few sessions with our fabulous Violin Teacher, Nicoline Kraamwinkel, the pupils were able to demonstrate their coordination whilst holding a violin, plucking strings and using their left hands to pitch specific notes. This was all taught through story and imaginative pictures that encouraged active listening as part of the pupils' musical experience.

We do hope that many of the pupils will have an opportunity to continue their musical discoveries through learning an instrument. Currently, over 70 pupils and students have an instrumental lesson at Michael Hall each week, so if you are interested in exploring this possibility please check out the Music page on our website and contact Rachel Masters our Instrumental Tuition Coordinator.
