Class 12 - Chemistry Olympiad UK

Our five Class 12 A level Chemistry students participated in the Chemistry Olympiad UK, a national competition run by the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) for top‑performing secondary school students. The competition challenges participants with demanding written problems that test chemical knowledge, logical reasoning, and problem‑solving skills beyond the standard school curriculum. The top 8% of students progress to further selection rounds, with the highest‑scoring students representing the UK in the International Chemistry Olympiad. Four of our students: Dylan, Jessica, and Dylan, were awarded a Bronze Award, placing them in the top 36% of participants. Helena and Gloria were awarded a Silver Award, an achievement earned by only 25% of students nationally. We are immensely proud of their success in this challenging and prestigious competition.
