Busy Bees in Maple Tree Saplings 🐝

Bzzz Bzzzz Bzzzzzzz
And what do you suppose
A bee sat on my nose!
And what do you think
I gave it a wink and said:
I beg you pardon, I am not your garden!!

This half term, the children have been busy creating beautiful little bees using pine cones, fleece, string, and glue. During our nature walks, we discovered many natural treasures, including pine cones of all shapes and sizes, which inspired our craft activity.
The children were excited to transform their pine cones into bees, carefully using their fine motor skills to pull and shape the fleece and attach delicate wings. They worked hard to ensure the wings stayed in place, using string and glue to complete their creations.
It was wonderful to see their creativity and concentration as they imagined their bees flying among the flowers. The activity provided a fantastic opportunity to explore nature, develop dexterity, and bring their imaginative ideas to life
