Awe and wonder in Oak Tree Kindergarten!

This week, the children were delighted to spot blue tits flying busily in and out of the bird box that sits on top of one of the sheds in our space, carefully carrying food back to their hungry baby chicks. The children sat quietly together, watching in fascination as the parent birds worked tirelessly to care for their young. It was a magical moment that sparked curiosity, excitement and thoughtful conversations about nature and caring for living things. We are feeling so blessed to spend our mornings so closely connected to nature.
