100 Years of Waldorf Early Childhood!

This week, Early Childhood had a wonderful impromptu visit from Jennifer Byrne, the Western Australian Representative for Early Childhood. Jennifer brought with her a gift of two dolls, lovingly handmade by Early Years practitioners in Australia.

To celebrate this centenary year, the Western Australian cohort has launched The 100 Dolls Project, with the aim of creating 100 dolls for 100 kindergartens around the world.

We have been fortunate enough to receive two of these beautiful dolls and give them a forever home here in the Early Childhood building at Michael Hall. What a thoughtful gesture and a wonderful reminder of the global community of which we are a part.

How special to know that these dolls have travelled across the world, carrying with them the care, creativity and connection of our colleagues in Australia.
