Novo Quartet to Perform at Michael Hall This October
Music lovers are in for a treat this autumn as the internationally acclaimed Novo Quartet comes to Forest Row for a special evening of chamber music in The Long Room at Michael Hall.
On Saturday 17 October 2026, audiences will have the opportunity to experience one of Europe's most exciting young string quartets, recently recognised as BBC New Generation Artists, in an intimate concert setting in the Long Room at Kidbrooke Park.
The quartet will perform a carefully curated programme featuring works by three celebrated composers: Dmitri Shostakovich, Carl Nielsen and Felix Mendelssohn. Renowned for their expressive performances, technical brilliance and fresh approach to the string quartet repertoire, the Novo Quartet has quickly established itself as a rising star on the international classical music scene.
Hosted by Long Room Music, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting and promoting talented young musicians, the concert promises an evening of exceptional music-making in the beautiful surroundings of Michael Hall.
