Celebrate the Changing Seasons with Kate's Chorus
As summer gives way to autumn, the Michael Hall community is invited to enjoy an afternoon of beautiful choral music at Kate's Chorus: Summer into Autumn Fundraising Concert.
Taking place in the Long Room at Michael Hall School on Sunday 27 September 2026 at 4.00pm, this special concert brings together a varied programme of traditional, contemporary and folk-inspired music, celebrating the richness and beauty of the changing seasons.
Audiences can look forward to a selection of well-loved pieces including A Gaelic Blessing, Wild Mountain Thyme, The Water of Tyne, The Seal Lullaby, Jacob's Ladder and The 23rd Psalm. The programme promises an uplifting afternoon of harmony, reflection and musical storytelling.
The chorus will be joined by special guests, Music teacher - Julian Rolton, and students Ella and Hei-Yan, adding to what promises to be a memorable and enjoyable performance for all.
In addition to the music, interval refreshments will be provided by Class 12, offering an opportunity to relax, catch up with friends and support students from the school community.
This concert is also a fundraising event, with proceeds supporting the Michael Hall Music Department. By attending, visitors will not only enjoy an afternoon of inspiring music but also help support the continued growth of musical opportunities within the school.
Tickets are available on the door for £8, with free admission for children aged 14 and under.
Whether you are a regular supporter of live music or simply looking for a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon, we look forward to welcoming you to Michael Hall School for this celebration of music, community and the transition from summer into autumn.
