There’s magic and wonder for children and adults alike. Discover the enchanting gnome village or try your hand at the ever-popular candle-dipping, limited supply of tickets available from Reception on the day. For our littlest visitors, the Elfin Grove puppet show is sure to spark delight and imagination, while those with boundless energy can enjoy the jungle gym. Have a go at our Christmas crafts such as biscuit decorating and wooden ornaments.

'The Elfin Grove' Puppet Theatre will be performing a Russian folktale: 'The Snow Maiden' at Michael Hall Advent Fair on Saturday 22nd November.

An old man and an old woman have their longed for little daughter but the Snow Maiden remains a free spirit. Alone in the wood, she encounters the dark forces of the Bear and the Wolf but is safely delivered home by the Fox. But when he seeks his reward, the old people play a trick on him with unwelcome consequences!

Beautiful silk marionettes with musical accompaniment.

There will be three performances at: 12.00, 1.30 & 3.00 in the Handwork Room.
