Over the summer holidays, students from Class 9 were tasked with "doing something creative and artistic", such as painting, photography or model making.  They produced some exceptional work that was technically excellent and thought-provoking.

Joel made large card models of complex polyhedra.
Eli used newsprint and stories about girls in education as a background to her portrait of Malala.
Suri's photograph of a white horse looks out from a black background.
Willoughby used black card to create a katagami piece of optical art.

Others used watercolours, paint, pastels, collage or line drawings to respond to the task. Here are some examples of their work.
