Festival of Fire

On November 2nd we held our inaugurate Festival of Fire, a community gathering with a nod to Samhain, whilst also bringing us together to honour the Day of the Dead & All Hallows Tide.
As families arrived the excitement and joy grew culminating in the fire torch lighting of a grand bonfire. Marshmallows were roasted, food and drink were enjoyed, Sparklers were glowing, all accompanied by beautiful live music, fire performer display, and a starlit night. Thank you all who attended and we look forward to welcoming you again next year.

'As the weather turns and the dark evenings set in, we’ve been getting ready for the colder months in practical ways: digging out winter clothes, turning on the heating again and starting to make Christmas plans.
Bonfire night offered a different kind of preparation. We found it truly heartwarming to have the community come together around the bonfire and fire pits, music playing and parents catching up. For the children, it was simply thrilling. Our youngest loved being out after dark in a place they know so well, but seeing it transformed by the night with their friends.
An emotional preparation.’
