A Wonderful Year of After-School Clubs

As another school year draws to a close, we'd like to celebrate some of the wonderful experiences that have taken place beyond the classroom. Our afterschool clubs have given students the opportunity to develop new skills, build friendships and discover new interests in a relaxed and inspiring environment.
A huge thank you to all of our club leaders for sharing their time, enthusiasm and expertise, and to the families who have supported these activities throughout the year.
๐งถ Needle Felting Club
Needle Felting Club has been a calm and creative space where students have enjoyed learning the traditional craft of transforming soft wool into beautiful handmade creations. Throughout the term, children developed patience, concentration and fine motor skills while bringing a variety of imaginative projects to life.
From colourful animals and woodland characters to seasonal decorations, every piece reflected the individuality and creativity of its maker. It has been wonderful to watch students grow in confidence as they mastered new techniques and proudly took home their finished creations.
A heartfelt thank you to Cecily-Kate for sharing her passion and inspiring such creativity throughout the year.
๐ Dungeons & Dragons Club
Our Dungeons & Dragons Club has continued to be one of the most imaginative and engaging activities on offer. Each week, students entered worlds filled with mystery, adventure and teamwork, where every decision helped shape their own unique story.
More than simply playing a game, students developed communication, creative thinking, problem-solving and collaboration as they worked together to overcome challenges and embark on memorable quests. The club has provided a wonderful opportunity for friendships to flourish whilst encouraging confidence, imagination and strategic thinking.
Thank you to our dedicated Dungeon Master Jason for creating such exciting adventures and guiding our young heroes throughout the year.
โต Sailing Club
This year saw the launch of our very first Sailing Club, offering students an exciting opportunity to experience learning beyond the classroom in a completely different environment.
Over the weeks, students learned the fundamentals of sailing whilst developing resilience, independence and teamwork on the water. From rigging boats and learning to steer, to working together in changing weather conditions, every session brought new challenges and achievements.
The confidence and determination shown by all of the students has been inspiring, and it has been a joy to see so many embrace a new skill with such enthusiasm. We hope this is the beginning of many more successful sailing adventures in the years to come.
Our sincere thanks go to Daniel Jones who has made this exciting new club possible, and to Tom Morris and Monika Arslan for supporting the club.
As we look ahead to the new school year, we are excited to continue growing our after-school programme and creating even more opportunities for students to explore new interests, develop skills and enjoy time together. We wish everyone a wonderful summer break and look forward to welcoming you back in September.
