Class 5 Olympics

“At the Olympic Games, it isn't the most beautiful or strongest who are crowned, but those who compete.” Aristotle
Last week, our Classes 5EN and 5TG competed in the Class 5 Steiner Olympics held here at Michael Hall Waldorf School.
These Olympic Games are an annual 4-day event uniting class 5 children from Waldorf Steiner schools from all across the UK and beyond our shores. 15 schools gathered on the hot, dusty olympic field for training.
A culmination of the Ancient Greek history and mythology main lessons of Class 5, this rite of passage is a non-competitive athletic feat for all Olympians
Thank you to all who supported our Classes 5 to be able to compete this year - The Gym department, The Maintenance Team, Safeguarding and Pastoral Teams, Teachers and all the parents!
And thank you to all the schools for joining us at this wonderful event - even when faced with true Greek weather!
