Class 6 perform Oscar Wilde’s The Happy Prince

At the end of term, Class 6 performed a musical adaptation of Oscar Wilde’s The Happy Prince.
The play featured several leading roles that required extensive solo performances. Many pupils took on solo parts, and all contributed beautifully to the choruses.
They sang incredibly and truly shone throughout (including the Happy Prince, who was completely covered in gold!).
Miss Hope led the music and singing for the production, with Mrs Lyons accompanying on the piano, and Mr Jones producing the play.
We are all very proud of how well they performed. Likewise, it was wonderful to see so many members of the school community come along to support the evening performance. It is really encouraging to see how well our middle school plays continue to be supported.
