Oak Tree Kindergarten
This week Early Childhood was blessed with a generous gift of beautiful willow, which has been lovingly shaped into small willow houses for each of our spaces, including our ‘Parent and Child’ garden. Yesterday, a kind parent in the school joined us in Oak Tree Kindergarten to build one of the houses together with the children.
The warm spring sunshine and the gentle weaving of the willow created a wonderful atmosphere of purposeful shared work. The children were eager and helpful, gathering rods, holding pieces steady, and watching with great interest as the house took shape. It was a joyful example of community spirit, and the simple magic that unfolds when nature, craft, and helpful hearts come together.
