Class 4a Walking Trip
Class 4a enjoyed beautiful weather for their 3-day walking trip along the South Downs Way. On the first day they walked 12 miles from Southease to Alfriston where they camped the night. On day two they walked from West Dean via the Longman of Wilmington, that evening they enjoyed fish & chips and Chinese whispers in multiple languages. On their final day, after paddling at Cuckmere Haven, they walked to Birling Gap where each child shared a memory from their three days together. For many of the children, this trip was the first time away from home and has brought the Class together in a way that wouldn't have been possible in the Classroom alone.
