Thank You for a Magical Midsummer Festival

What a wonderful day it was! On Saturday 21st June, the grounds of Michael Hall came alive with the joy and laughter of our beloved Alumni, as we gathered to celebrate our Midsummer Festival. Thank you to all Michael Hall staff and friends who worked hard to put on this wonderful festival and to all who attended—it was truly heartwarming to welcome so many familiar faces back, as well as to meet new members of our ever-growing alumni community. We hope you enjoyed celebrating your shared journey through the reunions and hope to see you soon at future events. A special thank you to our Old Scholar who attended the reunion during the festival for her generous donation towards one of our Centenary Projects - the restoration of the Open Stage. Big thanks for your continued support. 

The atmosphere was rich with stories, reconnections, and memories shared beneath the summer sun. From the garden games and delicious food to the simple joy of conversation, it was a reminder of just how strong the Michael Hall spirit remains, no matter how far our journeys have taken us.

A special thank you goes out to everyone who contributed to the new Alumni Exhibition, especially to Sarah H. and Mary S. who worked tirelessly to make it happen. Your displayed handmade items, photos, memorabilia, stories, and memories helped bring our shared history to life in the most touching way. Watching guests explore the exhibition, pointing out old friends and reliving cherished moments, was a true highlight of the day.

Whether you left only a few years ago or many decades past, it was a joy to have you back at Kidbrooke Park. These moments of connection are what continue to shape and strengthen our community.

We are already looking forward to the next gathering. Until then, thank you once again for being part of such a beautiful day.
