We’re inviting our wonderful community to contribute to our Michael Hall Centenary Auction which will go live on 22nd April! Whether it’s a handmade craft, a high-quality secondhand item or a voucher for your business, your donation will help us raise essential funds for our centenary projects.

How It Works:

⭐Submit Your Donation – Add your item directly to our auction site or email here with questions.

⭐ Administrator Approval – All submissions are reviewed before being listed to ensure they align with the auction guidelines.

⭐ Auction Opens – Once approved, your donation will be showcased online for bidding.

⭐ Winning Bids – When the auction closes on 24th May, winners will be notified, and we’ll coordinate collection or delivery of the items.

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week saw the moon descending in the constellation of Leo/Lion and approaching a full moon and Luna eclipse. 

The Lion is a stimulating and warming constellation which is good for sowing fruiting plants which at this time of year is aubergine, sweet and chilli peppers, melons and tomatoes. All these warmth loving plants germinate around 20oC.

Tomatoes can germinate at lower temperatures; I'll be starting these in my polytunnel whilst the other plants will get started in an insulated propagator.

This year I'll be trialling 10 heirloom beef tomato varieties,  as I hunt for the healthiest and most flavoursome tomatoes around.

My name is Farrah and I am an old scholar of Michael Hall school. I am here from America until mid May on an extended stay, visiting family and friends.
