18th October 2024

Dear Michael Hall Community,

It is a great privilege to write this week’s message. I am so proud of our school and how we all pulled together to achieve our very well deserved “good” result. I think it’s fair to say that Michael Hall has been on a journey these last few years, navigating some rather choppy waters, but now the Michael Hall sails are raised, and we are ready for a voyage into the next 100 years.

The Ofsted Report is a testament to our ‘head, heart, and hands’ approach to education which we continue to build upon, evolving, developing, and learning alongside our pupils.

With gratitude, I thank Emmeline and the school’s leadership team who together led this inspection with the utmost professionalism, honesty, integrity, and humour. I also thank all our wonderful teachers, staff working behind the scenes and our pupils who magnificently represented their school.

Please take a moment this weekend to enjoy this celebratory milestone.

With best regards,

Tali Michaels
Chair of Trustees

Kidbrooke Park Music Festival News:

Sunday November 3rd, 3pm, MH Theatre

Our very own brilliantly enthusiastic KP Festival Youth Orchestra will perform alongside the professional Festival Chamber Orchestra. They will play Debussy's sparkling Petite Suite, which has been especially arranged so that everyone can take part. Students from Michael Hall, as well as from various other local schools, are busy preparing their parts and will come together in the grand finale of this year's KP Music Festival!

Besides this, the Chamber Orchestra will also perform Ravel's exquisite Tombeau de Couperin and the delightful Mother Goose Suite. Our special guest, the artist James Mayhew, will paint live to the music, for all to see. A magical experience!

This is a concert for all the family to enjoy and be inspired by. Do not miss!
