Class 12 Play The Crucible

Class 12 are hard at work rehearsing their play The Crucible by Arthur Miller. During half term they will be in the theatre working - something every class 12 has done since the mid 1980's - and possibly further back than that! They will build the set, help with costumes, and most importantly rehearse, experiencing what it is like to work as a theatre ensemble.

The Crucible is Arthur Miller's classic dramatization of the witch-hunt trials that besieged the community of Salem in 1692. In this small, tight-knit Puritan village, gossip and rumour spread like wildfire, inflaming personal grievances until no one is safe from accusation and vengeance.. and violence. In the face of such fervour how can John Proctor, a local farmer, hope to protect his family and his dignity?

We hope you can join us for the performances on Wednesday 26th, Thursday 27th, Friday 28th February and Saturday 1st March at 7pm, Michael Hall Theatre.

Tickets available here or scan the QR code on the posters.

Due to the strong themes throughout, this performance is for Class 6 age and above.

We are so excited to see more staff & students enjoying the school lunches. We are also happy to announce that our dining team is complete and have had a great term settling in as a dynamic trio.

As we continue to review the provision, please support us by completing this short survey in order to guide us with future planning of The Canteen.

We would like to encourage more staff & students to eat in the canteen, therefore, even if your child does not currently have school lunches, please complete the survey.

Sowing has begun! I've recently sown onion, leek and lettuce seeds, these seeds require consistent gentle warmth to germinate.

In my propagation polytunnel, l've set up a small polytunnel with a soil warming cable, tube heaters and 2 layers of fleece to achieve this. This setup will allow me to germinate and protect my other early crops like beetroot, peppers, aubergine, melons, tomatoes, and celeriac.

This is a delicate time and sensitive young plants require plenty of care and management. This care allows me to get great produce out to customers as early as possible.

If you'd like to receive regular lists of available biodynamic plants and produce from the walled garden, then please join the WhatsApp group through this invitation link-

Work experience wanted
Hello, My name is Rino, I’m 18 years old, and I’m Waldorf pupil from Italy.
I really would like to have a work experience over the summer (mid June to late July), and learn more about the place, the culture, people and improve my English.
It would be great if I could have a room with a family in the village and/or close to the place of work. I’m happy to explore options. Look forward to hearing from you. Thank you for your help! [email protected] Rino
