Management

The Council of the School, the Board of the Trustees (see Governance), have delegated their day-to-day executive power to the Director of Operations. This role is responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the School in the short and medium term and oversees the execution of long-term strategies set by the Council to secure a healthy future for the School.

The Director of Operations role is fulfilled by Davina Skinner who is also the School's Designated Safeguarding Lead.

Reporting to the Director of Operations are the Chairs of each of the teaching faculties: Early Years – Mark Fielding, Lower School – Virginia Westlake, and Upper School – Alastair Burtt; Special Education Needs Co-ordinator - Jacqui Phillips, the Bursar - Karen Whiley, and Compliance Officer - Cecille Monks. Together with the Co-Chairs of the College of Teachers - Emmeline Hawker and Henry Howlett as ex-officio members, they form the School's Education Management Team. The College Chair roles are the guardian representatives of the Steiner Waldorf ethos of the School.
