Following our successful Race for Space sponsored run in September, I am delighted to say we were able to donate £550 to St. Catherine’s Hospice in Crawley. St. Catherine’s supports the families, friends and carers of people facing terminal illness in the local area. Advent Fair this Saturday, 26 November 11am – 4pm
Come and join us this Saturday and celebrate the beginning of the festive season at our wonderful Advent Fair.

Friday 18 November – I am pleased to say that all tickets have now been sold for tomorrow night’s Kidbrooke Revue, which is fantastic news! Sorry if you were hoping to get tickets and will now be disappointed. It promises to be a great night and all proceeds from the evening will go to fundraising.
Sun shines on our Race for Space
We could not have asked for better weather for yesterday’s sponsored run in aid of the Clockhouse restoration fund. The sun shone, there was a light breeze and spirits were high.
Over 160 parents, children, old scholars, staff and friends took part on the day, with one old scholar even travelling all the way from Germany to support us! We desperately need new teaching spaces to accommodate our growing student population and the Clockhouse provides ourt best solution. With only a few short weeks until our whole school sponsored fun run “Race for Space”, we can at last announce that our gym dept will be hosting training sessions for participants on each Tuesday and Thursday morning at 8.30 until race day, starting this Tuesday 13th September.

Students celebrate exam success
We are delighted to announce that our students taking their A2 exams this year have cause to celebrate according to results released last week. Of those students taking their A2 level exams this year, 94% achieved grades A-C, compared with a national average of 76.2%. Of these a phenomenal 47% gained A* or A grade (national average 27%) and 70% obtained A* to B grades (national average 52.6%). “Race for Space” gathers momentum
Over 70 people have already signed up for our sponsored fun run, “Race for Space”, on Sunday September 25th here at Kidbrooke Park.
The run is being organised to help raise money for the restoration of the Clockhouse to create urgently needed teaching space. Pupil numbers are growing and we need space for them!

School grounds open to public as part of National Gardens Scheme
This Saturday 11th June Michael Hall will once again be opening its grounds up to the public as part of this national scheme to make otherwise private gardens accessible to the public. Kidbrooke Park is a Listed Landscape designed in the 18th century by world renown Landscape Designer Humphry Repton. The 60 acre grounds boast a wealth of notable features including waterfalls, a Doric temple, a water garden, 2 lakes and a number of unusual specimen trees.
