Dwellers in East and West Sussex might justifiably begin to feel bombarded by Lewis Carroll’s masterpiece “ALICE IN WONDERLAND AND THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS” … two new local productions, Tim Burton’s recent film with Mia Wazikowska, Johnny Depp, Helen Bonham-Carter and a host of other excellent actors as well as an intriguing exhibition at the Tate Liverpool, where visual artists have been inspired to explore the themes in the work.

2011 Secondary School League Tables

Michael Hall students gained extremely impressive exam results in 2011. At GCSE 77% of students gained 5 GCSE’s at grade A*-C and of these 55% were A*-A grades.  92.5 % of GCSE’s were marked Grade C or above. The A level results were similarly impressive with 50% of students gaining A*-A and a 100% pass rate overall.  At Michael Hall 50% of student’s time is spent on non exam curriculum to ensure the breadth and depth of their educational learning. ..read more
